This Privacy Policy explains how Linux Legends (“the App”, “we”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the mobile or web app.

1. Information we collect

Account data — If you sign in with email/password or Google, we store your user ID, display name, and email address via Firebase Authentication.
Game progress — Level progress, XP, gold, gems, inventory, streaks, achievements, and premium status may be saved on your device and synced to Firebase Firestore when you are signed in.
Analytics — Firebase Analytics may collect anonymous usage events (for example app opens, screen views, purchase events) to improve the App.
Crash data — Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash logs and device information to fix bugs.
Ads — If you are not a premium (Remove Ads) user, Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and interaction data per Google’s policies.
Purchases — In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We receive purchase/entitlement status (for example Remove Ads) but do not store your full payment card details.

2. How we use information

Provide gameplay, cloud save, and leaderboards
Restore purchases and premium entitlements
Show ads (unless removed) and measure performance
Improve stability and features

3. Sharing

We share data with service providers who process it on our behalf:

Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics)
Google AdMob (advertising)
Google Play Billing (purchases)

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Children’s privacy

The App is a general educational game suitable for a broad audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for the purpose of selling data. Parents who believe a child provided account data may contact us to request deletion.

5. Data retention & deletion

Local data can be cleared by resetting progress or uninstalling the App. Cloud profile data tied to your account can be deleted by contacting us with your account email; we will delete associated Firebase Auth/Firestore records within a reasonable period unless we must retain limited records for legal or fraud reasons.

6. Your choices

Play as Guest (progress stays on device; no cloud save)
Sign out / switch account in Settings
Disable notification reminders in Settings
Purchase Remove Ads to stop AdMob ads in the App
Reset advertising ID in your device settings (platform-dependent)

7. Security

We use industry-standard providers (Firebase / Google) and HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed on servers outside your country (including via Google Cloud / Firebase).

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
